2nd Chamber is the ideal complement for your calcium reactor. Fill it with calcium carbonate, prepared magnesium for reactor or any other substrate of your election that dissolves at lower pH and pass the effluent of your reactor through it.


The effluent pH, still acid, will dissolve the substrate, resulting in double advantage: higher Ca or Mg concentration returning to the aquarium, and with a higher pH that you would obtain with a single camera reactor.



The refill or change of substrate is done comfortably, through a pressure top with o-ring seal.



2nd Chamber could also be used as a fluidized media reactor, but granulometry should be above 3 mm and should not need a great flow to work efficiently.
